I am a journalist and public radio/podcast producer based in San Francisco, California. I've covered everything from homelessness to wildfires, invasive species, ocean viruses, tech, arts, adventure and even what Thanksgiving is like in San Quentin prison. I'm always looking for real people, new discoveries and fresh perspectives to bring to life.
My story about unlocking the hidden potential of young people with autism won a 2019 regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Feature Reporting.
My work has been published by KQED, NPR, SFGate, The Bold Italic, The Journal of Addiction Medicine, WIRED and other outlets. I spent my undergraduate years at Brown University and earned my master's degree in journalism from Stanford.
When I'm not working, I'm most likely chasing my toddler, out somewhere in nature, making music or sipping tea.
